PANTO

Annual event at the cornerHOUSE

Gird your loins, the cornerHOUSE’s annual panto is almost upon us.
Following 2023’s D’Arcytagnan and the Three Musketeers we will be serving up The Mysterious Murder at D’Arcy Grange which will get those little grey cells working.
The comedy mystery-murder comes to the cornerHOUSE from Tuesday, January 30 to Saturday, February 3. Evening shows start at 7.30pm. There is also a Saturday matinee at 3pm.
Expect cringing puns, irreverence, dubious morality and straightforward family fun as this mash-up between Cluedo and Clouseau – which is rumoured features a foreign detective with an impressive moustache (!) – takes to the stage at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton.
Book your tickets – £12 (£10 concessions) at www.ticketsource.co.uk/thecornerhouseevents

Treasure Island and the Search for the Black Hole

Treasure Island and the Search for the Black Hole

Get ready to shiver your timbers and splice the mainbrace. This year’s cornerHOUSE panto is purely piratical.
Our motley crew will be setting sail for Treasure Island and they’ll be hoping to discover the whereabouts of The Black Hole.
R L Stevenson would turn in his grave at what’s been done to his original tale of skulduggery on the High Seas but you’re guaranteed plenty of yo-ho-ho’s and awful West Country accents. Oh yes you aaarrrgh!
So, me hearties, get ready to swap the winter chill for a fun-filled voyage to the tropics.
Panto runs from 29 Jan to 1 Feb at 7.45pm every day plus a 3.00pm matinee on Saturday!
Tickets from £10. Book now at TicketSource
