An Evening of fun and laughter celebrating black history with Toju, Kyrah Gray, Thenjiwe, Griff and Brandon Palmer.

Kyrah Gray – South London born and raised, Kyrah began her comedy career in 2019 during her last year of University. Her rise on the comedy circuit has been impactful, securing impressive gigs at clubs up and down the country as well as supporting White Yardie on his most recent tour. Kyrah has a huge online presence and has performed for Comedy Central Live, starred in Netflix’s YouTube sketch What Would You Do? with Harry Pinero, and will undertake her first arena performance at Mo Gilligan’s Black British Takeover at The O2.

Toju – Is a comedian & impressionist who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 8 of Britain’s Got Talent. He was aged 40 at the time of his audition. When asked if he was married he joked ‘is that a proposal?’, before going on to state that he wasn’t married to ‘[his] knowledge’. He received the Golden Buzzer from hosts Ant & Dec.

Thenjiwe – is one of the most highly recognised and popular South African stand up comedians on the road today. The lawyer turned comedian has performed to audiences around the world including Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines and cities in Australia, Europe, North America and Africa. With six comedy specials and two popular South African sitcoms that she wrote, produced and starred in, Judge Thenjiwe Khambule and Meet the Khambules; she is the Queen of African Comedy.

Brandon Palmer – American Comedian, Presenter, Actor and Writer. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, now living in London Brandon has a very diverse comedy background and a well loved performer at The cornerHOUSE.

Griff – Hailing from Midlands, known as The Grafter” will be your host for the evening.
