Event Details
Tickets are now on sale for The Bottom Line, a witty political satire written by Surbiton playwright Susannah Finzi.
Whoever thought austerity was going to solve anything? Here’s your chance to eavesdrop on Westminster and discover where – out there in the real world – this story might lead. It’s closer than you think!
The cast includes familiar faces from cornerHOUSE productions but with a particular challenge; they play more than one character!
Among them are Melanie Mortiboys as a daytime TV presenter and the prime minister’s beleaguered wife, and Lee Hutchings (Oberon in the cornerHOUSE’s big summer production of Midsummer Night’s Dream) as a hipster cameraman and a struggling school bursar.
Susannah moved to Surbiton five years ago with her partner, artist and photographer Terry Cripps, whose exhibition Look, no Colour is also at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, in July.
To book tickets for the show, which runs from July 18-20 at 7.45pm, visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/
