Surbiton and District Historical Society AGM followed by a talk on the history of Painshill Park

Painshill Landscape Park was created in the 18th century by the Hon Charles Hamilton, as a living and growing work of art. Hamilton was considered to be an expert plantsman and a man of great taste in landscape design. It was a marvel in its day and much admired by its many visitors. Work on rebuilding and restoring the park began in the 1980s and continues to this day.

Doors open at 7.00pm.
The talk is presented by the Surbiton and District Historical Society. Further information is available by emailing Paul (paulhowardlang1011@gmail.com).  Non-members are asked to contribute £4 when they attend events.
