Twin sisters Charlotte and Laura Carrivick have grown up playing music together. Their performances always demonstrate their joy in playing together, in singing in close harmony and in delighting an audience. At a live show the stage becomes an extension of their kitchen; welcoming you into a warm, musical embrace while cooking up delicious melodies and tasty instrumentals. Their mesmerising skill on guitars, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and dobro are a delight. Twins singing in harmony is always special, the Carrivick sisters are magical.

Folk@thecornerHOUSE is a monthly series of concerts showcasing the best in folk music. The aim is to present a wide variety of performers in the wonderful intimate setting of The Corner House. Each evening will have a main guest with a supporting act to start. There are too few venues in Surrey providing outlets for the dazzling wealth of talent available on the folk scene and this venture will hopefully go a long way towards filling that void.
