A terrific night in store with a 30-minute set from each of these excellent acts.
Bob Wood is a Scots-born folk singer and finger-style guitar player. Performing with an easy-going sense of humour, his vocal style, guitar arrangements and song interpretations display rare sensitivity, lightness of touch and technique.”Back of a Length” are Mark Worledge and John Mannel, playing traditional, contemporary and original music on guitars, flute and harmonica. Sue Graves “The Surrey Nightingale” is a stunning singer, accompanying herself with lovely guitar arrangements. Paul Hoad writes beautifully-crafted, thoughtful songs. He is an engaging singer and guitarist.
This will be a very diverse, exciting concert.

Folk@thecornerHOUSE is a monthly series of concerts showcasing the best in folk music. The aim is to present a wide variety of performers in the wonderful intimate setting of The Corner House. Each evening will have a main guest with a supporting act to start. There are too few venues in Surrey providing outlets for the dazzling wealth of talent available on the folk scene and this venture will hopefully go a long way towards filling that void.
