From the artist:

My love for art began in Italy where I grew up; I used to sit next to my father and watch him paint. I am a portrait artist, I draw with graphite and charcoal or paint using oil; my art is about loosing myself in someone’s expression and capture its essence. The most important part of this process is when I discover that some things about myself such as states of minds, feelings and thoughts are also immortalised in the portraits…I can see my inner self in subtleties harmoniously combined with the expressions of the eyes and the lips of my subjects. Every portrait in this exhibition is the result of “getting lost” into facial details and expressions of others to finally “find myself” in the end in those same details and expressions but under a different light .
